 JUST FOR LAUGHS PRODUCTIONS Just For Laughs Productions is the natural theatrical evolution for me to compliment JRC Purim Parody Productions. After writing and producing my first four parodies for community theater, Jack Cooley, my Musical Director, challenged me to write an original comical musical with him. "SHOES" is the first born of our commercial collaboration, and we're very proud of the show. We've received high praise and compliments from many Artistic Directors who have read the script and heard the promotional CD. After shopping "SHOES" around to find a Chicago producer, we've learned that it's nearly impossible these days to sell a first run musical. So by founding Just For Laughs Productions, if necessary, we'll cut out the middle man and produce SHOES ourselves. World Premiere Perfomance as Special Benefit for JRC and Connections for the Homeless in Evanston, May 3, 2007 at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts.
